Ribbon

A ribbon was tied to her index finger.

It was modest,

But when it caught her eye

It had a hint of sparkle and flair...

She put it there to remember that she forgot

What it felt like to be so loved.

  1. Is another ring to be involved? I've missed you!

    1. I've missed you as well, Fishducky!
No rings were involved in the making of this post!

  2. Dear Stephanie, I wonder why ribbons have so much power to help us remember? Yellow ribbons. Red ribbons. What color is yours? Peace.

    1. Maggie, sorry to burst your bubble, there's no ring on my finger...just celebrating 6 months with Rudolph.

    2. Happy 6 months to the both of you! As long as you both are happy, then my bubble is still intact and not burst ;)

  6. I told Rudolph about what everyone was thinking after reading this post and here's what he wrote to me after reading it:
"I like it, but I can see how the line "hint of sparkle and flair" could make people believe you're describing a ring. It's nice to know that if I ever wanted to pop the question I'd only have to fork out a few bucks for a sparkly ribbon."
    That's my funny man.
    I love you, Bryan!
    Happy 6-months-a-versary!!!!!!
