Each day she'd walk up to her canvas,
Stop,
Give a little smile,
And add something to it.
Yesterday it was a smudge of Cheetos from her hands...
Art doesn't mind if you're messy,
And every canvas needs a little flavor.

ReplyDeleteDear Stephanie, art I think comes out of openness! And being open to using whatever is handy--be it Cheerios or a fluff of cat fur is wonderful!!!! But that's children for you. They have the right idea. Peace.
