Here I Go

It's noon...I'm still in my jammies. Peanut is in one of her costumes, full makeup...she actually did a pretty good job. I've made the beds, vacuumed the carpets, watered the flowers in the pots outside, fed the kitties, fed myself, fed Peanut breakfast and lunch...and still I'm feeling in a fog.

Woke out of a strange dream this morning. Did my best not to let my mind travel to the Land of What Should Have Been's...for the most part I succeeded...but the dream is still lingering in my head.

So I'm lounging with the dream right now and letting myself relax and have a good cry...we all need that sometimes...at least I do. Deep breath, here I go...

  2. I'd have to say An American Tail..."I'm looking for my family" :(

  3. Jim-Jam day cool! It's no biggie to have a good cry... you'll feel better after and you can always have your good friends Ben & Jerry round for tea!

You probably make flannelette look sexy anyway :D

  5. I could so cry with you. I'm really hormonal. Add to that the National Anthem makes me tear up, and this weekend I'm a puffy eyed freak. :)

    Feel better.

  6. Go paint your toenails red. It will make you feel better

  7. Peanut made me a mask out of construction paper and glitter. And an unsolicited kiss on the cheek when we were at the swimming pool today and I am good to go.

  9. Hey girl! I think it's good to get it out of your system. That is what Elisa is doing with her memoir I did it through writing and most people do it with a good cry. Don't worry you don't need to go looking for a family. Peanut and your cats are your family along with all your friends out there and here on blogger. Hope you have a better day today.

  10. I love my daughter, neighbors, friends, and fellow bloggers like family...but every now and then I get sad because it feels like something's missing. I've experienced truly great love since my divorce...twice...but never envisioned it would not lead to a "complete" family.

  11. First off - I'm totally jealous that you were still in your jammies at 12. THAT IS AWESOME.

Having a good cry always makes me feel better.
Hope it did the same for you.

  14. First, thank you for following me. I hope I don't bore you to death with my blog. If you have any ideas on how I can get more followers, let me know. I feel like I should give you a prize for being the first follower or something! LOL!

Second, I hope you are feeling better today. I've had a few nights lately where my dreams have just lingered into the day and caused me to be emotional.

  16. Well then, I think there is a Fudgey the Whale in your future! Thanks for your note on my diary. I agree with you. AND, that IS one long ass article. The stuff I write is much shorter (and less scholarly)! LOL
